What happens in a kinesiology session?

The session starts with a confidential conversation about your health history and the reasons for your visit. Once we have identified what you would like to work on and established a goal for the session, you will take your shoes off and lie fully clothed on a massage table.

Through muscle testing, I receive feedback from your body about where you are holding stress and energy imbalances that may be preventing you from achieving your goals. A range of techniques are then used to correct imbalances and restore energy flow. Each session is different as the techniques used are based on what the muscle testing indicates are best for you on the day.

Some techniques that may be used to help you achieve your goals include:

  • stress release techniques
  • holding or tapping acupressure points
  • activating neuro-emotional, neuro-vascular or neuro-lymphatic points
  • Chinese meridian corrections
  • manual muscle manipulation
  • clearing sabotage patterns
  • brain integration exercises
  • affirmations
  • emotional awareness
  • relaxation and visualisation
  • strengthening systems with wholefood nutrition
  • sound therapy
  • colour therapy
  • chakra work
  • essential oils
  • age recession, and
  • flower essences.

There will often be home support for you to do between sessions and follow up work may be required as your life goals change.
